Batch container tracking
Check a whole list at one port. Choose Jebel Ali or Khor Fakkan, paste the numbers or load a file, and the workspace returns that portโs record for each container.
What a batch check returns
One run checks one port. A container that is not at the port you selected comes back as not found. You can run the same numbers again on the other port. Gulftainer also publishes an e-services page that accepts one number or an Excel file for its own terminals. This workspace checks Jebel Ali or Khor Fakkan, keeps the columns that port returns, and can export a CSV, save a watchlist, or set one arrival alert.
| Jebel Ali | Khor Fakkan |
|---|---|
| Status, terminal (T1โT4), vessel when the record has one, arrival, taken to town, empty return, and indicative free time. | In yard or not, KCT or SAJAA, discharge, a SAJAA arrival time when Gulftainer prints one, and todayโs yard charges. |
| Move history, including EIR details when Dubai Trade returns them. | No move grid, no EIR, and no taken-to-town or empty-return dates. The public enquiry does not provide them. |
How to submit the list
- Choose the port on this page or on the workspace. The choice is sent with the list.
- Paste numbers from a bill of lading, spreadsheet or email, or click Load File for a .txt, .csv or .tsv file. You can also drop a file on the workspace.
- Track. Numbers are de-duplicated. Results appear as each container is checked. A recent result can come from cache. A failed check can be retried from that row.
Lists longer than 300 containers need to be split.
After the results arrive
- Filter and search the table. Jebel Ali filters follow the import cycle: at port, taken to town, empty returned, and free time. Khor Fakkan filters are in yard, not in yard, and checks that need another try.
- Export CSV of the rows on screen. The columns follow the port you checked.
- Share link reopens the same numbers. Open it on the same port.
- Watchlist saves the list for that port. The next run highlights what changed.
- Arrival alert sends one email or browser notification when a container that was not in the record first appears. An alert follows the port you selected. It does not watch the other port. Guests confirm an email with a one-time code. An account keeps alerts and watchlists across devices.
Questions
Do I need an account?
No. Checking a batch, exporting CSV and copying a share link work without an account. An account is for watchlists on more than one device and the dashboard.
Will the same columns appear for both ports?
No. Jebel Ali shows terminal moves and indicative storage. Khor Fakkan shows the yard answer Gulftainer publishes. The workspace changes the table to match the port.
Where do I read the port guides?
Jebel Ali tracking and Khor Fakkan tracking. Arrival alerts are explained on the alerts page.
